With over 45 years of delivering Shepparton and the surrounding area with quality products and services, you can be confident you’re in skilled hands at Willow Batteries.

Willow Batteries opened in 1976 at 16 New Dookie Road Shepparton. Their aim was to source and sell the best quality batteries to customers in Shepparton and surrounding areas.

In 1987 Willow Batteries took over the running of Ramuda Batteries in Shepparton and Bowering Batteries in Wangaratta to add to their business and widen their customer base. In doing this Willow Batteries now provides services most areas in Northern and Central Victoria and Southern NSW.

Willow Batteries saw a change in ownership in 1999 when long time employee Murray Akers took over the business and since then has continued to build on its long-standing reputation for quality customer service.

2010 saw Willow Batteries in a new larger location at 95 Old Dookie Road Shepparton, where they continued to expand their product range and services.

Meet The Team

Murray Akers
Owner, General Counter Sales & Service

Murray started working at Willow Batteries in 1987. Now owner and operator, Murray took over the running of Willow Batteries in 1999 where he has continued to build on its long-standing reputation and quality customer service. With his extensive knowledge, if you have a question on anything we sell, Murray will know exactly what you are after.

Steve Chester

Pressure Washer Sales, Repairs & General Counter Sales

Steve is Willow Batteries sales and repairs expert. Since starting in 2010 Steve has been involved in the day to day operations of Willow Batteries and is the go to person who specializes in servicing and repairs of our Spitwater pressure washer range.

Norm Anderson
General Counter Sales & Travelling Deliveries

Starting in 2019 you will find Norm engaging in a range of activities from general counter sales to warehousing. Norm enjoys the variety of his position and is now our travelling sales and delivery expert who delivers to customers in North and Central Victoria and Southern NSW.

Bill Nippress
General Counter Sales & Service

Bill has been with Willow Batteries since 2014 where he manages the day to day operations at our Wangaratta shop. With his expertise, customer service and extensive battery knowledge he is always willing to help with your enquiries.

Tim Lynch
General Counter Sales & Deliveries

Since starting at our Wangaratta shop in 2017 Tim has been involved in sales and delivery of batteries to customers in Northeast Victoria as well as distributing oil to our Valvoline customers. Tim enjoys helping customers with any battery related problems that may arise.

Leigh Cornick
General Counter Sales, Warehousing & Deliveries

Leigh has been a part of our general counter sales and warehousing team since 2024. Leigh enjoys helping customers get back on the road by fitting their vehicles with new batteries or making local deliveries with the products they need.

Marie Levett-Hall
Administration & Reception

Marie has been with Willow Batteries since 1999, where she monitors the daily sales and keeps all the account files in order. Marie enjoys liaising with customers and helping them with their enquiries.

Jodi Stedman
Administration & Accounts

Starting in 2021 Jodi is responsible for maintaining all account information for Willow Batteries. Jodi enjoys the challenge and variety of the different tasks each day brings and is ready to help with any account enquiries.
